G-4: High Performance/High Impact Short 4" Wedge. The Green wedges are made from high impact nylon which makes them ideal for applications where durability and reduced mold damage is preferred. The Green wedge will typically outlast the White standard wedge by a ratio of 5-1. This wedge will retain its edge integrity for a much longer period of time making it ideal for the high volume shop looking to reduce cost. Plastic wedges are used throughout the fiberglass industry to avoid damaging the mold and the part.
